The Internal Revenue Service has determined that Garrett’s Space is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) as a public charity effective December 7, 2018, and donors can deduct contributions to Garrett’s Space under IRC Section 170.
