Our Mission

Garrett’s Space is dedicated to reducing suicides and filling critical gaps in supportive care options for young adults ages 18 to 28 facing mental health challenges.

Many young people feel alone, overwhelmed, or unsure about seeking formal treatment. Few places feel safe, welcoming, and free of stigma. In 2023, suicide was the second leading cause of death for young people ages 10–24 and 25–44 (CDC, 2025).

Our programs are built for young adults who are struggling and don’t feel comfortable with traditional mental health options, which often have an institutional feel.

At Garrett’s Space, you'll find a community that gets it — where you can show up as you are, connect with peers who understand, and discover new ways to take care of your well-being.

Our Values

Garrett’s Space grounds our work in a shared set of values that guide how we show up for our community. These values shape how we build relationships, remove barriers, honor dignity, hold ourselves accountable, and continue learning and growing in service of young adult mental health. We’re committed to carrying these principles into everything we do.

  • Community: We build relationships by communicating honestly and openly in everything we do.

  • Equity: We work to remove obstacles and create opportunities for everyone to participate in meaningful ways.

  • Respect: We treat every person with kindness, dignity, and work to understand their perspective.

  • Integrity: We follow through on our commitments and hold ourselves accountable.

  • Innovation: We embrace learning, creativity, and continuous improvement.
