Seeking Support for a Young Adult
Guidance for Concerned Friends, Family, or Community Members
If you are someone seeking support for a young adult:
Please contact Peggy Galimberti at peggy@garrettsspace.org or 734-212-6890.
While we welcome calls from concerned friends, family, or community members, it is also essential for us to connect directly with the young adult in need of support before moving forward with enrollment.
If you call outside of our business hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Our practice is to return program calls the same day or the next business day when possible.
If Garrett’s Space is not the right fit for you, we will do our best to recommend other resources in the community to help support you.
Our Wellness Programs
Our weekly support groups provide a safe space for young adults ages 18 to 28 to connect with peers who understand what they’re going through, guided by professional facilitators.
Activities include discussion, mindfulness practices, creative expression, and movement exercises designed to build coping skills.
We also offer monthly in-person gatherings for participants, as well as other opportunities for connection.
