Wellness Programs

A Community of Connection, Hope, and Healing

Our free program fills critical gaps in the mental health care system by creating a supportive community where participants can develop new coping strategies and grow meaningful connections.

When and where?

Currently, our groups are virtual and held weekly on:

  • Tuesdays from 5:00–6:30pm

  • Wednesdays from 7:00–8:30pm

  • Thursdays from 5:00–6:30pm

We'll be adding additional groups in the future. Time and day TBD.

Community & Movement: Monthly In-Person Opportunities

In addition to our weekly groups, we offer monthly in-person gatherings for all participants focused on socialization and community building, such as outings to go bowling or play games together.

We also offer monthly gatherings that alternate between nature walks and yoga-inspired movement sessions.

Times and days of our in-person gatherings vary, but generally they are on weekends and evenings.

There are no fees to attend our groups or in-person gatherings.

“Garrett’s Space is a community—a community for wellness, mental health support, and connection—not a mere ‘support group.’ And even if you’re like me and often feel like there really isn’t a place for you in the world, there will be a place for you at Garrett’s Space.”

Wellness Group Flow

Our virtual wellness groups follow a consistent, supportive structure:

  • 1. Welcome & Check-In

We begin by welcoming everyone and creating a safe space. Participants share how they're feeling—with no pressure, just an invitation to be authentic.

  • 2. Share & Connect

An opportunity to share current challenges or topics on participants' minds. They can request input from the group or simply be heard—completely up to them.

  • 3. Guided Activity

Each session includes evidence-informed activities focused on developing coping skills and managing mental health. These might include discussion prompts, brief videos, journaling exercises, or gentle movement activities.

  • 4. Check-Out & Intention Setting

We close by checking in on how everyone's feeling, then set a small, manageable goal or intention for the upcoming week—something meaningful that supports wellbeing.
